Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a balcony, which I loved, but being at the dead end of several corridors felt a bit eerie at times. However, the suite was much larger than I expected, with a separate lounge and bedroom, making it a cozy stay overall. The service was okay, with laundry service available and a welcome drink, but there is room for improvement. The location had its perks, such as good food options both upstairs and downstairs in the Cafe and the charm of an old historical building, yet a noisy environment due to sounds wafting through corridors and rooms was quite bothersome. Dining was of good quality and plentiful and efficient and friendly, fitting the bill nicely for value for money. The facilities met expectations, but there were minor inconveniences like the locked door during early checkout, necessitating the use of fire escape stairs, which should be addressed. Overall, a decent stay with some quirks to consider for future visits.
The hotel is located in the heart of the town, making it convenient with a lot of character. The rooms were spacious and had thoughtful amenities like facial tissues, tea & coffee supplies, and fresh milk on request, although some noise and small size were noticeable. The location was the standout feature, being walking distance to everything you could need.
The hotel is in a central location, great for exploring all Kalgoorlie has to offer. The rooms definitely need refurbishment and had a damp smell, likely due to the bathroom issues. The ability to log in to Netflix in the rooms was a bonus for keeping the kids entertained.
